October 1 - 8, 2020 | Vancouver, BC
Based on the BC Government’s announcement to ban all major events, festivals, and public gatherings with more than 50 people until further notice, IDS Vancouver 2020 edition, set to take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre this Fall, has been reimagined in a new format with extended dates.
In addition to 20+ accredited virtual seminars with timely topics on designing for a post-pandemic world, the future of city planning, and more, the 2020 edition will feature all types of events hosted in showrooms, design studios, galleries, design firms and residential/commercial building tours in and around Vancouver during the week of Oct 1-8, 2020.
For years widely considered as Vancouver’s Design Week, IDS Vancouver is a design fair that has become a physical hub in the West for the design industry and local community. Going completely virtual wouldn't let us deliver on the momentum and the expectation we’ve earnestly built within the community and industry at large. Therefore, with grateful support from partners and from IDS Vancouver’s parent company Informa Canada, and because we are beholden to and would be nothing without our community, for 2020, IDS Vancouver is proud to present an exciting hybrid program that continues to prove our investment in and love of the West’s design industry.
The IDS Vancouver 2020 hybrid program provides participants with a unique platform to showcase and sell their work to a diverse, educated and savvy design-centric audience.
